With this beer, brewed in the ‘Stad der Bevrijding’ (City of Liberation), we would like to honour those man and women that travelled to England during the Second World War to join the allied forces there.
This beer Engelandvaarder is inspired on the British beer style Bitter: a beer with a low alcohol percentage and a balanced taste. This dark blond beer combines the fresh hoppy aroma with a soft malt taste and a pleasant bitterness.
Occasion: Ideally suitable for a Friday afternoon drink: with its moderate alcohol content this is a nice and friendly beer after a working day. Also delicious with light dishes.
